During our primary school days, essays titled "My Unlucky Day" is very common. Cliche situations like, caught in the rain, caught in the rain.. and caught in the rain, are our common topics... well.. today, 3 of us(Geok, Carine and myself) have totally understood the meaning of an unlucky day!!!
A planned SQUAD 14 outing turned out to be really successful (OR NOT...). We are supposed to go ESCAPE themepark so as to use up our free tickets. So well, geok and i met at 11 plus and it was already raining... the funny thing is, it seems like we are destined to have our outing on a rainy day.. a little boy was singing a random song on the bus while i was on my way to meet geok, "rain rain rain some more....blah blah" (adapted from RAIN RAIN GO AWAY song). He then turned to his mum and said "ma ma, i love rainy days! hope it will rain some more!" This is like so diao when u know that u are going to ESCAPE themepark.
Since it was raining, geok and i decided to slack at her house and shun bian see rover. Carine joined us shortly after that. Well, the sky kinda cleared in the afternoon and we were wishfully thinking that going ESCAPE at that time will be good...ahah! and you may think that we managed to play but good things never last... the rain started again the moment we reached downtown bus stop! hai/ so that's it!!! we dont have to go liao...
With some optismism, we decided to wait for the rain to stop since we're already there, but the rain never seem to stop!!!!!! oh well, so geok suggested to buy poncho so that we can at least go home.
DY: Carine, i think the rain will be get smaller straight after we buy the poncho so we will be stuck, thinking whether to go home or go ESCAPE.
and true enough... thanks to my mighty mouth, the rain really became much smaller. And once again, the adventure to ESCAPE was carried on!
At 1600hrs, the Escape auntie told us that the park is temporary closed due to the bad weather but we decided to wait for a while and set 1615hrs as the time limit. And some thanks ah.. zhun zhun at 1615hrs, the park start to let pple to enter! got so zhun meh?!
We immediately chiong to the Go-kart area and waited... those staffs were like clearing the water on the ground, we even suan some Action action guy behind his back and i think we kena the karma.... it started to pour again! Frustration set in and we decided to leave and tadah! the poncho came into gd use! And i guess u will nv get to see 3 going-to-be 20 yrs old girls walking around in ponchos.... but yeah... we managed to brave the rain in those ponchos! it was really worth our 95cents!!!
WE LOVE PONCHOS!!!!
oh well.. i really dunno what to say about our day today.. unlucky or memorable...
