There's a first for everything. This was one.

My first time writing in a card with pens at the display. Not that I'm proud of it but it certainly shaved off a few years of my life. (OK. Exaggerating.)

But me and JM dun carry ard pens during recess week XD
So, the woman of the hour (month) is Hazel!

Apparently she had no idea that the gathering was specially organised for her. Kudos to ppl from the other table for their quickwit, we got treated to a comical surprised look from Hazel.

Which, no doubt, is going to be mentioned (and laughed at) everytime we see her.

I wanted to post some pics of the gathering but a few ppl had my phone and most of the pics I have were of them...

Anyone with other photos pls contribute!

Before we went our separate ways, a group shot is taken... The waitress wasn't much help, but

靠人不如靠己...

How can a gathering end without a sensational picture?

Greetings from LT26, the smelly LT. I'm supposed to be listening to some nonsense on organic chemistry but apparently it's not really interesting so since I brought Ace today, why not contribute to our dying blog? As you can see, Kiap is being cute, as usual. I think my arm won't be bruise-free for long. I'm sure she'll pinch me later after she reads this on the blog but for now, I'm safe because she's paying attention. Good job, Kiap.

Di Ya is the ultimate, she's not even here. She just woke up. Very lihai lor. I'm really running out of things to write so I shall just blabber. Next week is recess week, but I feel like the semester has just started not long ago, in terms of the stuff that I've learnt. Great. I'm kinda hungry now. Maybe I will eat my favourite ham and potato bun later. We have lecture until 4pm today.

SIAN!

I'm so bored! Kiap is wearing her hoodie that she bought from Taiwan and it has lotsa cute stuff on it. Let me try and describe some of them, there are lions, pigs, dogs, and bears on it. Ok she just covered it with her adidas jacket so I shall stop here. She insisted that I should say that she's hardworking. Ok KIAP IS HARDWORKING! KIAP IS REALLY REALLY HARDWORKING.

Guess I'll end off here. Enough of reading my nonsense.

Happy (really very) belated birthday!

01 September, 2008 - 10:07 PM

Hey people!

Seeing that no one has been writing for quite a while, I shall share something really random.

I have a question for the gals...

If you were presented with a doughnut and a muffin, which would you choose?

Think of an answer then continue reading.

I recently re-read this book (I know, I know.... whoever re-reads book except for geeks like me XD) which had a really whacked theory about guys.

Yup! You guessed it! Doughnuts and muffins!

According to the book, doughnuts are guys who are bad for you while muffins are worth it.

Reason?

1) Doughnuts are lovely to look at (totally agree.... the doughnut fad 不是乱盖的... I am tempted by the display at Tamp interchange on a daily basis).

2) They give you an instant heady sugar rush (chococrunch doughnut!!! Me Lurve!)

BUT...

3) After the initial high wears off, you'd wonder why you even ate something that shot your calories to the moon and is so totally wrong for you.

4) It will turn tough and sticky the next morning and you wouldn't even want to touch it with a ten foot pole.

Lastly, I think this refers more to the guy than being an insult to the doughnut...

5) It will never grow any fibre. (DUH. Doughnuts, as in the food are DEAD. Unless the bread mould that grows eventually count...)

And now for the muffins....

1) They do not look to impressionable (Erm... the room for disaster for baking muffins is really huge. Just ask my mom, she had to soak and scrub the baking tray for 2 days before getting all the chao ta batter that overflowed. And the muffins looked like miniature volcanoes)

2) Isn't as satisfying to savour as the doughnut.

BUT...

3) They keep you full. (therefore the dependable sort. No thunderous stomach growling in LTs)

4) They taste even better when left overnight ( this I'm not sure.... but it'll be softer...)

Well, which did you pick?

I, like many other people out there picked doughnut.

Not that I have anything against muffins... but the taste really made it a done deal.

I guess everyone will eventually settle for a muffin (as in guys. I really don't believe anyone would actually choose muffin-food over doughnut-food).

You'll just have to find the right flavour.
