First and foremost, HAPPY 20th BIRTHDAY JIA MIN!
Yesterday was our beloved Kiap's birthday. We had dinner at Olio at Holland Village. The food there was not too bad, even though they missed out my order. I contemplated being a demanding customer but seeing that it was a happy occasion, I told them nicely. Presented Jia Min with the booklet that Di Ya and I made. Thankfully we escaped unscathed.

Following that, we hopped over to Coffee Club for deserts. There was actually a surprise waiting for Jia Min. Hazel was supposed to come with the birthday cake. BUT, the waiter gave us nice seats at the window on the second storey. Unfortunately, that also meant Jia Min could see Hou Ying downstairs behaving weirdly, which also meant that she knew smth was going on.
So Hou Ying came up the stairs, follwed by Hazel with the cake with the candles lit. Then, as she was walking to our tables, a strong gust of cold air from the air conditioner blew the candles out. So anti-climax but hilarious. Seems like funny things can't stop happening to Hazel.

What Jia Min didn't know was that, earlier in the day, Di Ya and I went to hide her present in her room with the help of Clara, her nice room mate. The present was the present we pretended to give to our OG friend during the morning lecture. The ideal plan was for her to find it immediately after she gets back to hall but somehow it was too well hidden and Yin Ning and I had to hint her over MSN just so she could get it before 12am.
