Class Chalet
Cloudy skies and an occassional gust of cold wind usually precedes a leisurely afternoon lounging at home, probably enjoying a rejuvenating nap. This reporter however, fretted the morning away as it was the day of the much anticipated class chalet.Fortunately, after a brief afternoon shower the rain clouds gave way to gentle rays of sunshine and this reporter was very honoured to be accompanied by Yong 哥 for a swim in the pool.
This reporter digress.
Due to monetary limitations and pure bad luck we had to bbq beside a vile smelling garbage bin and even resorted to putting a "Do not open" on the bin. The chalet was rather cosy with two rooms, a living room and a kitchen.
While the bbq pit and fire was tended to by Wei Jun and Ken, the chalet Mastermind (HY) and her helpers (this reporter included) relived their fond childhood memories through a game of "AEIOU". This inevitably led to a series of shrill squeals and shrieks, alarming fellow chalet-goers who had the misfortune of witnessing the childish yet strangely entertaining game.

The food was a letdown this time round. The delectable and addictive bbq chicken wings were sorely missed by all. Fortunately, innovation and creativity won over even the pickiest eater (you know who you are). The rolled out crabsticks (thanks HY) and garlic bread (not sure whose idea it was but thanks) were snapped up once they were done.
This reporter retired into the living room after an hour of bbq-ing and was greeted by a gaggle of 11 girls. More squeals, shrieks and laughter was generated as we cheered on the contestants of a TV game show and it was noted that we looked like children of poor parents with local TV as our only form of entertainment. (This reporter is inclined to agree.)Meanwhile, the guys arrived and were stuffing themselves with food.(No one bothered to take pictures...)
Just as we thought that thing could not get more exciting than this, a flying cockcroach invaded the living room, causing a wave of synchronised screaming and scampering. While the guys watched on outside, a courageous Carine successfully put an end to the cockcroach's sorry life, exhibiting the 巾帼不让须眉 spirit to its fullest.
The chalet then slowly evolved into a pseudo gambling den with almost all the games in the book going on at once. This continued until Eric whipped out his pro looking (Cannon eos?? Whatever it is, this reporter is JEALOUS!) camera and so started a cam whoring session (so sorry Geok, Feel free to replace the offensive word).

The girls then retreated into the bunks for some more gossiping. A wide range of topics were covered. Some old, some new and some quite inappropriate XD. A conclusion was made during the 2 hours of intense discussion. Conclusion: WE LOVE KIAP!
Reason: Everything she does is funny= we laugh = always happy to see her.
One thing's for sure. She'll never heard the end of "Oh~Oh~ yey yey~"s, "bad boy", "Kiap", "sexy legs", "sexy girl" and whatever nickname that she will get bestowed with in the future.
The party started to break up in the wee hours of the morning. A surprising 20 out of 24 people turned up making it an impressive 83.33% attendence rate. This reporter is very proud of the class and thank everyone for their much appreciated presence on behalf of the organising committee(especially for making money collecting a record breaking 15 mins). We look forward to seeing you next year!
P.S. A chalet is never complete without brushes with the paranormal. You are warned......
This photo looks so chui after the Sadako one :(
